LESLIE GANGL HOWE (Barbara Applegate) has spent the past few seasons working with Genesis West on such productions as “Bug”, “The Goat, or Who is Sylvia”, “The God of Hell”, and “La Terrasse”. She stared in the Garth Brooks music video “Standin’ Outside the Fire”. She is a voice over artist with numerous commercial and industrial credits and was the co-chair of Women In Film in Santa Barbara.

LEAH JOHNSTON (Suzy Applegate) is a Canadian artist and performer living and working in Los Angeles. She received her B.F.A. from New York University’s musical theatre program, and has since been featured in shows such as Gossip Girl (CW), As the World Turns (CBS), Beautiful the Musical (Fringe Festival) and Bloodletters (Bleeker Theatre). Her fine-art photography has been featured in galleries around Los Angeles such as NorbertEllen, Gallery Godo, The Hive and Cannibal Flower. For more information, please visit

SEAN EATON (Bobby Applegate)moved to California from Australia with his family to pursue their careers in film, TV and theater (Mom is a composer and music/acting coach, siblings are actors and Dad is thankfully a great cook, supervises homeschooling, chauffeurs and keeps the whole circus sane).  Sean has had lead roles with the Rogue Theater Ensemble (“Punch”) and LA Opera (“Madama Butterfly”) along with numerous community theater roles and film roles and has received outstanding personal reviews from LA Times and Variety.  Sean loves to make stop motion films, tolerates schoolwork, throws a mean karate kick and is happiest when acting.

THAINE ALLISON JR. (Grandpa Joe) grew up in the San Fernando Valley on a small farm and surrounded by people from the “business”.  He delivered papers to celebrities, went to class with their children and his dad built sets for the film studios.  He bought his first horse at 10 with the proceeds from his paper route.  He finished high school and college in Chico and headed for Borneo as a Peace Corps Volunteer after graduation.  Following two years in South East Asia he hitched hiked across the sub continent from Singapore to Germany.  Returning to the US he pursued graduate studies in economics and taught at the university level in Washington and California.   As a poet, short story writer and photographer he was able to exercise his artistic and creative talents.  With a long history of research, teaching, public speaking and community development, both in the US and abroad, he decided to return to his first love, acting.  His work spans the stage, screen and television.  “I think the most important piece that I have done is a documentary film about a Peace Corps Volunteer that was captured by rebels and was to be executed at dawn.  He was rescued by the British Royal Marines.  Other roles include a general that blew up the world for the devil in Armageddon, Darwin, Gallilao, Lyndon Johnson, and various dads, husbands and sometimes good and sometimes rotten middle aged men.”  “I am a vigorous 55-75 year old character actor.  Far from frail but not an athlete, I am strong willed, smart, stubborn and undaunted by those who would intimidate me.  I bring a tremendous amount of life experience to my roles, I am well trained and a hard worker.  I have language skills in several languages and some understanding of the human condition.  I value the opportunity to be a story teller in this latest phase of my life.   I am excited to be on a new journey.  The world is a mess, I think it is important for artists to speak out and re-trim the sails of human destiny.

JONATHAN ROUMIE (Newsreporter/Voice over) was born in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC and raised in NYC & the suburbs. A recent migrant to L.A. (not that kind of migrant), he has worked predominantly in Film, TV & Voice-Over, having most proudly provided the voices of over 25 different characters on 3 seasons of MTV’s “Celebrity Deathmatch”, a figure which pales in comparison to the number of voices echoing in his head on a daily basis.
